OVERVIEW

During New York Climate Week (NYCW) 2024, we partnered with Global Optimism, Open Planet and Exeter University to curate and present a creative storytelling workshop. In the workshop, we challenged 50 young climate leaders to write and film a short campaign video to communicate the importance of ‘positive tipping points’ to other climate conscious young people who couldn’t attend NYCW.

OUTCOME

Watch the short campaign video co-created by young climate leaders within our creative storytelling workshop and produced by our team within a 24-hour timeframe.

We wanted to challenge traditional communications during New York Climate Week by co-creating this campaign with youth leaders on the ground and producing the video in 24-hours. This was to ensure that the latest tipping points research was being shared by young people in real time with other climate conscious youth across the globe.

We were also given the opportunity to screen the campaign video to intergenerational environmental leaders at the Mission 2025 Huddle at Hope House, to amplify youth voices present at New York Climate Week.
