‘Breakwater’ is a short environmental film that encapsulates the importance of the local action needed to reduce the global issue of marine litter. It explores this extremely topical environmental issue through different human case studies, and importantly it acknowledges that there has been many changes made across schools, businesses and society that need to be celebrated.

Since the film, St Peter's Primary School has been awarded the Plastic Free School Award, and this film has featured in Devon Life, Exeter Life, Devonshire Magazine, Proud to be Green, Oceanographic UK and has been nominated for the INDIs, Lift Off and Two Short Nights Film Festivals 2019.
